Mashd N Kutcher are a unique live electronic music act combining elements of multiple genres & decades 
into their unique style of dance music, performed live as a collective of DJs and multi instrumentalists.

Signing with Universal Music Group in 2017 plus a deal with publishing group BMG 
MNK have seen success with multiple platinum records, a Triple J Hottest100 placement at #12
plus regular coverage on mainstream media outlets both in Australia & abroad.

The project’s online content series ‘Will It Mash?’ presents unique combinations of songs and genres 
alongside the reaction of a special guest. Featuring bandmates along an array of celebrity guests 
including members of the Wiggles, World Champion Athletes,Popular radio hosts, Musicians and more, 
the videos double as both standalone content pieces, as well as as a vehicle for activations 
including products and services, brand partnerships and record release campaigns.

In 2023 project founder Matt James established an ongoing fundraising component for the band,
with all Artist Streaming Royalties for the song ‘It’s Alright’ going to Myeloma Australia in perpetuity
